It's Brough Castle, just outside Penrith.

Argh built by William Rufus (I searched google) IIRC he took over from William the 1st and was an evil king. Cool I can appropriately name it now. :thumbup:

Didn't have any idea of the history tbh Carl. It's a great view from the bridge in the photo and you can walk up to and around the ruins. Fair trek for you though :lol:
