Common Parts - Storm and SP1/SP2?

Post by Mav617 »

Is there a list anywhere of common parts between the three models? More for customising etc, as items such as sprocket nuts, exhaust hangers etc there seems to be more choice items available for the SP's.

Or is it easier to list what's different? i.e bodywork, suspension etc?
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Storms don't really share many parts, if any, with an SP as they are totally different bikes apart from their both V twins. Even the spacing between mounting points on the exhaust hangers are different.

And, seeing as you mention it, the Storm takes M12 sprocket nuts and an SP1 takes M10. But ProBolt gives plenty of choice, just enter the correct model number and select the item you need.

You just have to do your homework, check thread sizes, holes spacings etc and then decide how much work you're willing to do to make something fit.
Easy enough to check, just type both into Google.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
