4 Line kit ??\

Post by leevtr »

Anyone ever seen one for sale ?? Thought it worth asking as it might be cheaper than 3+clutch.

I've not seen a full braided kit...

I'm assuming you want braided? I got some really nice quality lines made up to my exact required lengths, for a lot less than poorer quality branded ones.

I used "hosequip" my local hose shop. They even made me a cuppa while I watched them make them

I bought my Hel 4 line kit from Wemoto IIRC.

Failing that as Jamie says go to a hose specialists. Pirtex have a place down in Grays.

Nothing at all, if it's new... Ten years later, it's pretty crap to be honest... And buying Honda spare parts is about the same as aftermarket, or more...

Thought I'd replied to this earlier..doh !!

Nothing really wrong, but its 12 years old and if I'm gonna give the brakes the once over ( its not modding, its maintenence lol ) may as well get rid of the rubber hoses.

I think they have a decent reputation over the nation, based in Colchester.

Don't worry Markus, it's a long running joke with lee and his unnecessary mods

I got 2 front brake lines, with black coated braid, a handful of copper washers and a cuppa for £20 iirc. I tipped them a tenner.

The only problem I can see if doing what I did, but over the phone, is getting the right bends on the fittings and getting the offsets right before clamping.

If you can find a place to walk into locally, I reckon it'll make life a bit easier!

Sounds like a lot of aggro, but when you see the savings over buying x4 branded lines...

Ah... but on the other hand, dyno tuning isn't modding either... It's just an adjustment...

Sounds good, but when fuel and time are factored in............
