3 Things young man..

1. FFS ride with the balls of your feet on the pegs, not your arches. Get them toes out of the way, and you'll have much better feel to.
2. Glad you enjoyed yourself, the weather was kind which was a right bonus, and.....
3. Get your hair cut you tart

Feet were purposely like that lee, I was not out to try and prove anything ( the ones that were, crashed ). I was testing suspension set ups for the Ohlins and getting used to the bike, didn't want to lean too far so I kept my toes in the way to stop me doing anything I didn't feel ready for yet on that bike. The riding position is different and so is the entire handling of it, as a result

No Kev, these are my leathers!

And not sure lumpy, 4-ish sessions and probably about 14-15 laps?

Just cause your carers are like a fifth of your age, even with their 14 years experience working at Old Folks homes

You can't catch me with a Zimmer frame though  got my Richa's half price too, just under £200 for the set like 6-7 months back :D

I've already mentioned the foot thing Lloyd  I don't normally do it. It was to stop me pushing too much and possibly crashing out

I flogged my old Richa's to some sap! and replaced them with a set of Ixon pulsar Air. Nicer fit but the lining retention isn't as good as the Richa.

Nice one Virt, good on you for giving it a go.

Don't let the idiots put you off though, you will probably find if you did one in Summer you would get more novices in the novice group, though, I suspect you will always get overflow from the inters in there.

The more track days you do, the more you will find yourself in front of these guys and not getting overtaken. I found that on our first day at Cadwell it was quite scary being overtaken on corners moving me off my line, but by the time I did the second Cadwell, and then Donington, it happened much less often, and when it did, it felt normal and not risky or unnerving.
