Can any one find a better sports bike under 1000cc for less than 2.5k with under 20k on the clocks than the B1H Kwak?
Any one had one, The Aprila wasn't great so been trying to find the best bike for under two and half grand this is the only model that keeps jumping out at me as it was so much more advanced than the rest of the 600's of its time
plus it still looks relativity new with its styling imo

Re: Better than this one?
yeah standard bike, in 03 it was the class leader, took honda and yamaha a good few years to catch up and suzuki till 04 and that was still way down on power compared to the kwakSaintsman27 wrote:looks well looked after and kwaks are quick .. are those

As a comparison, slightly higher mileage but in a hurry to sell it.
For a first time "big" bike I would highly recommend the CBR600. Had an older F3 when I got back into biking. Rode like it was on rails, fuel economy excellent and did everything you wanted it to.....twist the throttle and go fast, cruise at 70 all day or potter around town.

Great bikes them Seb, your mate could do a lot worse. Never owned a b1h but have rode one, as with most 600 sports they love to be revved and the noise with the right can on is very appealing
.
Easy to ride and once on the power it was blisteringly quick, usual Kawasaki features really. The finish was ok, corrosion on fasteners here and there, certainly no Honda in that department.
There is also this one? - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/kawasaki-zx6r ... 3a86a2cc84
Further away like, but I do prefer the green.

The Kwak is a great little bike
I'd keep my eyes open for an 04 GSXR750 too (if I was looking at il4's)

Had 2 zx's mate a g1 and a j1, scream them all day long, they love it and the induction noise is awesome. Good on fuel too, highly recommended bike in that class IMO.

SH#T HAPPENS!!!!!!!!

Re: Better than this one?
The b1h kwak was one of the best of its time, in its class anyway
a steering damper isn't an option, its an essential as theyre slappy as wombles (did you say its for a new rider?)
the k4 gsxr wasnt as high on power but weighed a lot less, however I doubt there are any good ones about at 2.5k

he's not a mechanical man by any stretch of the means wants somthing FI defo doesn't want somthing with a choke to piss about with, coming from a 125 i think the fuel economy of a storm would put him off for lifepopkat wrote:Does he not want a storm, he can join in here then. Re: Better than this one?
compared to the Kwak it looks dated, old forks, old brakes, dated dash and looks lardy imoturbo_billy wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR-600 ... 2ecbe7e0dd

Why not check out a 600 Daytona? I have a friend with one. It looks nice and it doesn't half shift!
