Some of you know of the brake disc saga!
My storm has been sorned for 3 months because it failed mot on warped discs. tried 3 sets and they all had problems. Well we had a look yesterday, and got a mix and match set by combining two sets, neither is perfect but safe and working ok, just went for mot and it went through, he said there is a little bit of fluctuation, but he wasn't worried about it, it's a 'get some discs when you can afford it' not a before you can ride it situation.
Just been online and retaxed it and planning on some storm related silliness over the next few days! Having ridden nothing but the fazer for 3 months, yet again I was amazed when I got on it how good it feels to ride in comparison with a squidgy sports tourer!

Re: Firestorm lives
Thanks guys
I still have those vfr discs sitting here jamoi, they failed the mot before but then the calipers were also in need of a rebuild and the calipers were sticking, and they only just failed, so they might go through for someone who is in a hole. If anyone want's to try them I will happily send them on.
