DLW? "Dearly Loved Wife"?
If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?
Viper cans arrived yesterday. Wera a bugger to fit and the low price is evident in the inaccuracy of welded bracketry, I'm going to have to drill an 8mm hole in the right hand link pipe coz it dont line up. The clamps supplied were too small to fit the cans although this turns out not to be a problem as the cans are a very tight fit indeed. So tight in fact that they have to hammered on with the rubber mallet. Once in place the will never come off without recorse to an angle grinder and the do seal very well. After fitting I started her up an boy was all that hard work rewarded. I've been mulling it over trying to think of a way to describe her new voice and the best I can come up with is: Seductive. It's much quieter than I expected, never having had race cans before, but it is a beautiful sound full of new promise. Unfortunately all the hard work brought me down with heatstroke so I can't say if she's going to live up to that promise, watch this space. A

Well at least you did do the job in the end Well done
Due to DLW being poorly I have just returned from my first ride with the viper cans and Jeeeeeesus what a difference. Without putting it on a dyno (very expensive) I can't quote numbers but there feels to be a huge increase in torque, no flat spots and no change in engine operating temp which would suggest that the fuling is OK. My local mechanic was full of praise for the Viper system sayng that they are the equal of many more expensive makes. He also said that fitting a Dynojet kit and K&N filter and having the bike set up on a dyno would provide even more umphh, He even spoke to the engineer he has set up his bikes and got a quote of £300 all in. That's a very good price for that sort of work and I had intended to take him up on it but after the ride I have just had I realize that I would be spending money to aquire power that I am never going to use, not much point really. Oh yeah and the new soundtrack is gorgeous. A
