Surely you could buy the LED one with indicators incorporated and not wire in the indicators if that's your bag! I only went for the adaption option as I didn't want to butcher the loom. The LED bulbs are a compromise though I suppose.

They ain't bright enough for my liking .
I had led bulbs fitted (now in ck's bike ) but I want something better :-)

I also had a LED rear light that was rubbish in the amount of light it gave when braking in daylight, in comparison to the original rear light. I think the clear lens will need really bright LED's to even match the rear red lens.

Not cheap but you can get one like mine. Clear lens with Red insert and uses standard bulbs. No built in indi's.

That's another option Carl :thumbup: , but already got me an led one to fit/butcher for the clear lens :D
