Can anyone advise me what the largest wattage headlight bulb is I can run without any problems and major mods?

Stick to H4 -60/55 W - unless you put a ceramic bulb holder in (to replace standard meltable OEM placcy/nylon one) / Eager Beaver Relay kit.

Re: Headlight bulb upgrade!
Careful if you have it on main beam too long…

I have a 55/100 with relay kit in mine, no problems with that as it is normal rated on dip beam

I'm running with a 100/55 so I have a better high beam when needed. Fitted 6 months ago, plugged straight in and no issues.
Re: Headlight bulb upgrade!
No, I bought the normal relay kit with plastic holder, I didn't spot the ceramic one back then when I did the conversion. No sign of problems on the connector last time I had the fairing offWatty wrote:Is that with ceramic holder?mik_str wrote:AMCQ46 wrote:I have a 55/100 with relay kit in mine, no problems with that as it is normal rated on dip beam
