T piece, carb balancing

Aiming to do permanent fitment of carb balancing pipes etc. Have got front cylinder brass adaptor, what T piece and other pipe work do you pros recommend and best place to get it

If the brass adaptor has an "O" ring on it remove before fitting. Use some thread-loc sparingly on the threads, and do not over tighten the brass adaptor, as it's very easy to shear off being made from brass.

On another note, I would keep an eye on that silicone hose. I used silicone hose (blue) a few years ago for the front cylinder vacuum take off point. I noticed mine went all squishy/soft, rubbery almost over a short period of time so I had to change it. Mine was sold to me as being suitable as petrol hose. I don't know exactly whether it was due to the heat that affected it, or the petrol (small amount) that you'll get in the pipe when using it as a vacuum take off hose. Either way it was not up to the job.

Thanks for the info on the hose Chris. What would you recommend? I have fitted silicone hose, but wouldn't be hard to swap as it's still stripped down.

Nylon? Youd have to double check its properties though, also you want some proper fittings not that hose-tail stuff

I should have added that I am not saying the hose in that ebay link is the same as I had and it may be fine, but it is silicone and so was mine, so keep an eye on it just in case.

As for where to get what I ended up using, I just bought a mitre in length of petrol pipe from my local bike dealer, iirc I paid £3.00 for it, but that was two or three years ago at least
