Re: Which Pads
I looked on pfm website and they said be careful with which sintered ones to use as they may cause premature wear, But didn't say which ones was best to usedarkember wrote:Any sintered ones should do
Re: Which Pads
To be honest all sintered pads will wear your cast iron disks. If you don't want the wear then use organic pads but you will loose efficiency especially on the track. Other avenue would be to upgrade the disks but that will be costly.carmanbikes wrote:I looked on pfm website and they said be careful with which sintered ones to use as they may cause premature wear, But didn't say which ones was best to usedarkember wrote:Any sintered ones should do

Upgrade to what?
Short of getting Braketech carbon-ceramic matrix, iron is about tops, has a higher coefficient of friction than stainless....... People looking to upgrade typically go TO cast iron.....

You have to remember Mik that Darkember has a blue one so he's not used to going fast enough for the standard brakes to be an issue...

My blue one is the best blue one
Re: Which Pads
That may or may not be true, but having the best blue bike is a bit like being the subtlest sheep shagger in Wales. Good for you on doing something properly, but it's still bloody wrong in the first placedarkember wrote:
