Just looking for your advice for my poor storm
. On the way to work this morning I noticed a strong burning smell coming from the bike, but no smoke or anything. Smells like a cross between oil and electrical, but I can't find any oil leaks and everything looks good. Stopped the bike and the smell stopped. Noticed a bit of coolant leaking out of the overflow pipe, but the temp gauge was on a quarter the whole way in and it did not want to start this morning (though it was a chilly 20 degrees
), had to actually put the choke on to keep it going, until it warmed up a bit and even then it wanted to stall. 
The smell started in the first few minutes of riding.
Just kicked it over and I can't smell it now. Have I gone insane, or more possibly was I already insane and just sobered up a touch??

Guess it must have gotten wedged there on my last long ride, which was a night run on the highway and I remember seeing bats flying around me, guess this one zigged when he should have zagged 
The heat of the engine must have been crisping the little fella
