rear view helmet...

i think it would be a bit confusing having a small mirror right in ur face and a bit distracting
its not a car ....its a bike you should not have to worry about things behind you.... :p
but saying that i would test it to see it work or not ....i would probably crash  for looking at my rear then front
it would work if all bikes would have reverse gear
Aha you know what it is black and yellow...black and yellow !!!

I was looking at those helmets a while back. My opinion is you would get used to it and I think it could help in making motorcycling safer. I would need to test one out for a few months to confirm this obviously.

The trouble is today I think you do have to be aware as much as possible of what's going on all-round you, and that does include what's behind you. I thought the price was realistic, as originally this type of technology was going to cost a lot more. Note the rear view part you look in is adjustable.

Here's the link I saved, there's a video in it worth watching:-

now isn't that interesting and obvious. If safety and integrity of the helmet wasn't compromised then it has to be something that will become the norm. Or is that why the Arai's etc haven't gone that route I wonder?

Wasn't this posted about not long back too? :eh: oh well

I would try one but not sure how often I'd use the mirror. That's what the wing mirrors are for, then again you could remove them and have the bike look a little more race based. I wonder how many people would be to busy trying to look behind them when going round a corner, also would you be more likely to be dazzled by someone's lights because the mirror is right in front of you?

Unless it's plod :eek2 Unless changing lanes/road position that''s the only reason I want to see behind me.
