Guess its hard to fix what isn't broke....mind you, a few new bits would have been appreciated, ie;bigger tank, good USD forks and anything to make em a bit more modern.

well

well, that ridiculous race in 1000cc inline-4s category contributes to that, doesn't it? In the world where people want more bhp then they EVER EVER will be able to handle nobody thinks about balance...
Remember first magazines reports on 1000rr vs. ZX10? Let me remind you " new Fireblade been a bit of dissapointment - it is so perfect and easy to ride it not exciting at all" Hey??? NOT EXCITING??? mess up suspension then and get your excitment....
Honda seem to be falling into that game deeper and deeper every year...anf they've been most sensible of the pack so far!

I truly want BMW K1200R now.

the 'NEW@ colours for 2006 have been around for a couple of years everywhere else, ask the Oztralians and the Yanks !
Just trying to get rid of the last of them by making them sound different. Poor job if ya ask me !

something else

Here is something else - Americans (on US board) telling that Honda America stopps selling Firestorms there now!
Not only guys over pond been robbed of 19 l tank and bellypan as default, they have 599 (Hornet 600) update we had since 2005 anounced as brand new update for 2006 there!

This is so reminds me of my daily work with "big" IT hardware manufacturers... "No, we do not sell 1.6 GHz in US and we do not sell 1.5 GHz model in EU!" -"Why?" -"Well...because!"

Italian Red again... I'm on my 3rd Italian Red Storm (each of which I've had from new) - not sure whether I want a fourth! Great bike but its about time they updated it - that will be 10 years and just about all they have changed is the bigger tank and the dash. Suprised they haven't fitted the injection engine from the Varadero. Maybe they will do something with it next time?

Cheers,

Ian.
