Can anyone remember where the threads were on these? One is longer than the other apparently and I can't remember which is which!
Getting to the bottom of my poorly running "new" engine I think - don't think it has anything to do with it as such. If I really wind the throttle on in top from about 5000 rpm and open to the stop, she'll bog down and lurch a bit,and when I roll off she'll start to pick up better. Steady acceleration and she'll keep pulling. Must be some air getting in somewhere that shouldn't, or the carbs have been re-assembled incorrectly when they fitted new needles & tubes.
If anyone else has ideas then please tell me. I've just printed off some of the posts relating to vacuum hoses and I'll be checking them on Tuesday.

Question 1)
Long one at the back, short one at the front
And if yer interested fitting another long one to the front give more midrange and a short one to the back gives more top end
Question 2)
Mine did exactly the same after fitting my pipercross filter before rejetting
Honestly felt like it was running out of fuel. Had it setup on dyno (£60) and its now lovely
