64p a litre it was when I started riding .

Just clarify its not road tax, its vehicle exercise duty!!

Well I say it should go back to the way, ROAD FUND LICENCE. Lets be fair, you can't tell me that even a Toyota 1.0 takes up less room than a motorbike or wears out the road surface less. What happens when all we've got is vehicles who pay no excise licence, who pays for the roads then?

Who pays for roads now...have you seen the state of them. :lol: Yeh joking aside I'm with Lee on this one and it should be included in with the fuel. The only problem I see is the Gov getting the money and at what percentage from the petrol companies. Would they need a separate department to deal with this.

I remember when £10 would fill the tank on my Cortina :lol:

The people who use them most, hence incorporate it into fuel cost. It is and always will be the only fair way.
