Wrong ones Erik I think darkember is referring to the two smaller bolts down the side inside the cam chain tunnel. I generally don't worry so much about a precise torque on smaller bolts like that and do them up by feel. Also put some threadlock on. Obviously the main head bolts should be done to a specific torque.

I was not posting about a specific bolt location,, his question was about the general spec for small and large flange bolts, that do not have a specific stated TQ spec..

So I posted a pic of the Honda small flange, large flange bolts Honda uses and a text description of both...

He knows what bolts he is asking about did not think he needed a pic of them

Thats a good point well made! Whilst on the subject of tightening bolts, In all my years in the motorcycle trade I would think that about 80 to 90% of stripped / damaged threads that I have had to deal with have been 6mm.

Yeah you can get it cheaper, as suggested. Please forgive me for being too lazy to hunt for the cheapest prices!

90% or more of the ones I see with pulled threads are from using cheap TQ wrenches, or one with the wrong range of scale for the fastener tightened..
There is a good reason a better service tech will own 5-6, or more good quality, calibrated torque wrenches,, and it ain't just so he can brag about it at the pub over a pint

You had me going for a bit there mate.. I re read my post 4~5 times to see where I had something wrong, till I realised you were talking about the location of the bolts I pictured ... not the type...
