Pretty much sums up my thoughts on the storm too! I've only had mine about 6 weeks and absolutely love it! I had a zx9r before the storm, and it's so different to ride, the torque and noise is addictive! You'll love it even more after doing the ccts, it takes that little worrying voice out your head when you open it up!Bertiew wrote:It's a lot different than I'm used to as I've an R1 too, but I love the torque, it does feel well balanced but haven't pushed that much due to the weather, and the sound is amazing, I just love V type engines. I am the same with you and nervous about it not having manual CCTS on it though. However all in all I'm impressed at how much a bike they are for little money.Scott24 wrote:Hiya mate yeh just getting used to riding it really , I just smile all the time I'm on it haha
I'm just concerned with the ccts after reading about them on here , how do you like yours ??

Yeah it's just a shame I have to wait a couple of weeks for them. Mind saying that by the time I get them done I may get a nice spring day.dansrockin wrote: Pretty much sums up my thoughts on the storm too! I've only had mine about 6 weeks and absolutely love it! Thanks for that. I do fancy doing them myself but after looking at the tutorial on here about fitting them it looks a bit of a task and I don't know if I've got the patience. Daft really as I'll have a go with most things on a car.Watty wrote: Bertie, as i'm just up the road in sunny Woodland if i can be of any help to you with cct's or anything for that matter give me a shout. Don't profess to be great at anything but i have always done my own :?mechanical work
( plus i'm too tight to pay anyone to do it
)

I'll probs have a go then. After all I'd rather spend money on petrol rather than give someone else it to do a job I can do myself.
