I have material for the spacers etc and could probably do them so they fit and have a hole in the middle so what is the cost in that.. £24 for the joints and a few extra for the lock nuts etc??

All you have to do is decide is how long the spacers have to be if it's different from the original dog bone width. If it isn't then that is even simpler....

Just a thought but to allow adjustability, would the rod end need to be left threaded one end and right threaded the opposite end, like the gear linkage rod.

Which size thread would you say is best to you? I was thinking m10-12 would be strong enough but are there any other suggestions?

The M12 (XMM12) has a 12mm hole in the ball and I was thinking this is what you are probably after for the spacer diameters and will give you a sensible wall thickness for the 8mm bolt that goes through...?

Same lines I was thinking along 1.5 thread you think or would you say a finer thread is better? Is have been tempted with the corser thread but be good to see if you think differently

Now that is a bloody good question. I would like to know the answer to this too.

Why do Brembo use a 1 mm instead of 1.25 mm as the thread pitch I have often wondered as I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to nuts and bolts, thread pitches and the whys and hows. How does the thread pitch effect the forces on a nut or bolt.
