steering head bearings

steering head bearings
got to change my head bearings soon...any tips on how to jack the front up safely?dont really want it toppling over..cheers guys.

I've always used a paddock stand at the rear then a car jack under the engine
3 top tips
1. Have the jack as far forward as you can get it
2. Use a piece of wood between the jack and the sump (spreads the load and prevents damage)
3. Don't remove the rear wheel!!! The weight of it keeps the whole thing nice and stable. And yes I did find that out the hard way!!
