ultra seal warning.

this is just a quick notice for anyone useing or thinking of useing ultra seal or any similar products.
be warned if you put this stuff into your tyres it will void any manufacters warranty, so if the tyre develops a defect of any kind they wont pay a penny.

Hi dkt1376,
Have you ever heard of any problems from using Ultra seal

If so what are they. Surely it can't be bad, as I think its BMW who actually recommend it

I've put Ultra Seal in more tyres than my wallet cares to remember.
What sort of problems have you heard about? I've never had a one

the only real problems are if the tyre develops a fault( i.e. if it goes out of shape.)
the other problem is it can cause balance problems, due to the liquid going solid and sitting in one place in the tyre.

I've used Ultra Seal for the last 4 years, no probs with imbalance at all, sounds like a bit of scaremongering from the tyre dealers. Still better than being left at the side of the road with a puncture.

I myself have been using Ultraseal for 3 yrs at least without any problems yet
