Oh did I mention... you'll have to give me a ride on your bike in exchange for a bacon roll Yeti? :) :) :) :)

How about sticking the date in the title Jamie. It can then be seen at first glance scrolling through this section of the forum when planning what ride outs ones doing.

Just fired up the lap top to change the title (can't do it on my phone) and hey presto someone else has done it already!

Is there room for another. Need to do the valve clearances. I would be looking to travelling up on the Friday so the bike will be stone cold to work on the next day. Any cheap & cheerful places to crash for the night?? Will someone be bringing a shim kit and decent feeler gauges??

You are more than welcome sir

My feeler gauges are straight which is ok but a bit fiddly. Also I couldn't find the right combination to determine the exact clearances, just verified that they don't need doing!

I have a nice comfy caravan in my garden m8.
Just around 40 miles from Jamie's.
May even find some food and drinks for you.

The last thing you need in your combinations are bent feelers.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
