The bike had a new hagon shock before i got it.

Right lets get down to the facts after 2 weeks of ownership. Firstly the bike is physically larger than the storm and feels heavier (it may not be though). the seat is higher which is a problem for my little legs, still i might grow into it right? Dont laugh if you see me on it.

Anyway day 4 of ownership and the bike goes dead after running for 30 seconds. no power or lights nothing at all. Long story short is the fuse box had melted and shorted the main fuses together. This is a common problem on these it turns out. the reason was the rectifier was kaput and the std wiring cant handle the loads. So a new fuse box and rectifier later and a wiring mod form the Triumph forum and bike is sorted for good.

will update later with how it rides etc.

Quite a few similarities in appearance side side. Just looking at you mirrors and they sit quite a bit further up up the fairing. I'm wondering if this is what the Storm needs for better vision. I like the rear end and the style of seat on the trumpet

They tape the lights up before you go on the track.

i had a 2003 model and i really liked it apart from the fact the engine feels "raw" if you know what i mean, sort of growly and very mechanical compared to Jap bikes, it was grunty but used too much oil so i sold it. Suspension was a bit hash too but i can see the attraction, just not for me. hope you enjoy it though and safe riding. :D
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

prompted by a message i thought i would update after a year of ownership. Its been a good year apart from when i first got the the bike and the reg/rec went along with the stator. anyway modded and replaced the bike has since been sweet.

Last summer at the festival of 1000 bikes.

I then found out you can download free software to adjust fueling and so much more. Its called tune ecu.

I then added this.
