Looking for the non existant tyre, fantastic grip with high milage do they exist or is this the holy grail, I have 208 gp's with only 1800 an the rear is completley fu"ked 800 of these miles were running in can anyone help being new to the vtr (4cyl convert)

Just completed 2200 miles on my D204...it`s now shagged....
I`ve been and priced up a replacement D204 but it`s more expensive than a D207RR or D208 ????
Anyone have any idea why ???
Does anyone know if i can safely run the original 204 front and a 207 rear....?
Don't know about the compatibility, but Busters Accessories (08702 412040) are offering D208's for £150 delivered a pair (quote RM63). That's the best price I have seen and it's got to be better value than buying a rear 207 and worrying about compatibility or cocked up handling. You,ve probably only got another couple of k on the front anyway before you need to change it.
Just to let you guys know...I eventually bought a standard Dunlop 207 sportmax...and it`s every bit as good as the D204...AND it works well with the D204 still on the front......Got it fitted for £90....in Burton on Trent..bargin.......any of you guys want the number i`ll gladly pass it on....
