its a 50/50 for me know, I have friends visiting spain and flying back to the uk on the day of the workshop meet, I could fly back a day or two earlier, but it would look a bit off, I also haven't even started stripping down my bike to put a new engine/forks/shock and a few other bits in, plus the mot runs out on the 14th of april, so its looking iffy at best...

Even better than that, ratchet strap him to the garage ceiling using my improv bike hoist!

And the ratchet straps are easier to use than rope... if all your fingers are joined together that is

Back to the question, yes, I have the shim kit and use straight feelers with no problems- I'll bring them along, with a vernier caliper. You can do the work, though!
