It's about an inch longer give or take, but has a stupidly short prong compared with the Storm stand so needs to be modified for ease of use.

Bit of grinding, bit of bending & a bit of welding later you can make something like this...

Which will give you much more to get your toe onto when you want to put it down.

The foot is identical in size IIRC. I'll have a proper measure up in length for you tomorrow.

I am assuming it is longer but sticks out further as the stupid storm one has the bike almost vertical to start with?
Budget storm gradually on the road to spangliness.

matty is a mod you use if you install a 6mm spacer on the rear shock
the standard is then to short thus the need for the longer stand
i think a camel toe one inch thick would look silly
what do you men think
thanks for the reply's
nice work mac might copy that

There you go...

Image

Measured from the centre of the pivot hole...

Storm stand is 21cm to the heel of the foot.

Blackbird stand is 25cm to the heel.

Storm prong is 8.5cm Blackbird is roughly 3-4 cm, it had a ball end like the Storm but that was ground off in the re-prong fabrication.

You'll also notice it has a slight bend at the top at the pivot end whereas the storm one is straight.
