Robin1000 is indeed yer man -I have not yet got round to racing due to lack of funds, lack of time and more importantly lack of permission from Mrs Ben!!![]()
Ben

You've got a VTR prepared for racing (the one you use for your avatar with the duck face on it) and you have done track days, yes

So you can't tell me your not racing against other bikes on track days

Therefore you are going to have more experience than a road rider only.
Chris
PS. No doubt you'll put me straight if I'm completely wrong

1. Its not race prepared, its my standard road bike with a scruffy fairing and seat unit on it.
Racing requires:
Coolant replaced with plain water
Oil filler, sump, brake bolts drilled and lockwired
Fit proper tyres that haven't been thrown out by someone at Silverstone trackday and then used by me for a further 3 days!!
Remove all indicators
etc etc
2. Never race with other bike -they can't keep up!!
