pannier rack for throw overs
Started on the next little project !!
A pannier rack using the rentec rack .
I bent up two strengthening rails to go from the pillion bracket mounts to the rear of the rack ,
I'll use these to mount the base of the pannier frames to .
I need to order some more tube to make the other bits but when done it will all bolt on in minutes

Re: pannier rack for throw overs
nice bit of pipe bending there Lloydie, you have matched the shape of the under tray well.
I assume you will be putting some extra frame work out horizontally to take the forces that normally end up going into the fat part of the tail fairing......and breaking the plastic mounts

Yep that's why I decided to build it as I didn't want to damage the plastics or the paint .AMCQ46 wrote:nice bit of pipe bending there Lloydie, you have matched the shape of the under tray well.
