FAO Miztaziggy

Been busy past couple days but wanted to say all up and running. Changed to CGMiner and everything worked straight away as should. Only problem I do have... it's really pushing my graphics card which in turn is making it run hotter even with the settings changed as suggested. Fans on my card are full speed, damn thing sounds like it want's to take off

Yeah mate it will do that.

Mine run hot too.

Bottom card runs at 70 degreees and top card at 75 to 79 degrees. I leave the windows open in the room it's in otherwise it gets like a sauna in there.

It tells you the temps the cards are running at in CG Miner:

FAO anyone mining these coins

Put your hash rate into this and press calculate (when you click the link it defaults to my hash rate):

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/ ... Check=true

See the coins that are at the top of the list are much more profitable than mining LTC.

You can trade whatever coin you min on Cryptsy.

When I posted this originally, I could mine over 1 LTC per day. Right now I can only mine about 0.5 LTC a day with the same hash rate.

However if I mine say GrandCoin I can convert that for about 0.9 LTC per day.

To do it, you need a wallet for each coin you are going to mine. I downloaded wallets for Casinocoin, Grandcoin, Fastcoin and Spots.

You can mine any of those coins on http://p2pool.org/

To do it, you put your wallet address into the username of CGMINER line, password just put x. Address to link miner to is shown on the p2pool home page.

Lol what have I done....

Just ordered almost £3000 of computer hardware, £1500 for me and £1500 for my brother, 4 motherboards, 4 CPUs, 8 PSUs etc plus enough graphics cards to keep my whole street warm :)

On the up side, if the rates stay as they are we will be making £2600 a month with £600 a month electricity costs. Not a bad little earner (I hope) :)

Fingers crossed they stop profitable Ziggy, I've given up as it won't return anything anytime soon. And I'd end up at a loss on electricity costs anyway :(

Credit cards are your friends :)

I have been putting off buying hardware to mine with for months now, always assuming it's about to crash, it can't keep up etc etc....

All that time I have seen what I could have made and finally thought crouton it. Let's do it.

Gutting part is, if I had done this a year ago, I could have had thousands of LTC now worth a crap load. A year ago 1 LTC was $0.17 and it's now $30 - that's 176x my money I could have had :(

First R9 290 rig up and running :)

5 cards running at 800 KH each. What a hassle getting it working though.

Now running 3 rigs. 2 with 6970 cards and one with 6950 cards plus this totalling 7000 MH. One more of these monster rigs to build then I am done :)
