That did cross my mind, I'm not sure how effective it will realistically be at protecting the shock/header etc. I was toying with the idea of fitting a shock sock thingy http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0699439618 but wasn't sure how universal they are.

Lloydie, my bike now has a sidestand so I can go out on it without having to lean it against the petrol pumps at the garage.
if it is nice sunday I could be talked into a bit of a blast to clear the cobwebs

made a start at last to sort a few problems. stripped the forks,cleaned them and replaced the oil and done the little mod to the damper adjuster then rubbed down and sprayed the botooms. twice as they turned out crap first time :eek2
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:

Chris and lloydie, Sunday w be as sunny as Saturday, but I can't go out on sat, :(
looks like there is rain coming in from the west that will hit cov area by 3pm. So earlier than lunchtime would be best

im up for a dry run ! and dont want to spend the next few days cleaning it and with theses temps no more than two tanks of go go juice tho . oh i might have to set the mixtures a few times as i still haven do a proper shack down run ! .

If the weather says it will stay nice I shall have a word with the missus and see if we can leave the hotel earlier. Will take about 1 hr 30mins to get back. 10mins to get ready and then 30 mins to get to yours Lloyd, it'll be an early one but after today I think she owes me :roll: :wink: :twisted: 8O :? :lol:

chris, Sunday is not looking that good (compared to today) big weather front coming in from Wales, so if we arnt started by 10am we are gong to get soaked. I think you can enjoy your lie in

I hate this weather. Typical when were busy doing something else the weather is nice and when we want to go out its crap :thumbdown:
