essential storm mods
What would you consider essential mods on the storm and why?
I know we mention bits all over different posts buy id like to see people actually say WHY they believe something was worth changing
It seems front forks are one, but luckily mine were "rogered" a year before I bought the bike

I quite like the aftermarket exhausts. Changes how you feel riding it, no more does it feel like a tuned up sewing machine! !

Me and my big gob.
I'm with Virt on this one. Cans are essential as they sound better and change the whole vibe of the bike.

Re: essential storm mods
my best mods in improvement order are:
1) the front brake calipers swapped for CBR600
2) Rogered forks
3) eastern Beaver relays and 100w bulb
4) Cans
5) new rear shock
6) Renthal Bars
7) rearsets for my long legs
8 ) taller gel seat
9) Ventura luggage rails

Re: essential storm mods
I think they do, allow you to grip the bike with your legs and take the force off the bars when braking and cornering

Re: essential storm mods
Essential mods are only really CCT's, and on the earlier versions replace the rectifier. Other than that the rest is personal choice based on what you like and how you ride
