Is ally too soft to make a shock spacer?

Ive knocked up a couple of 3mm ones to start with, going to use 1 with a stainless washer over the top making a circa 4mm spacer in total

it will be fine..............the frame where the upper mount is fitted through is also Aluminium, so it will be fine
