So the past couple of weeks I've been 'Stormless, like a lost soul....while it's been in the garage having lots of work done to it. Manual CCTs (thanks Bazza!), new rear tyre, fixed the blowing exhaust and another starter motor installed. I've had to make do with my similar aged GPz500 as transport which itself had it's share of problems.
Now obviously, the Kwaka is no match for the storm in almost every way (apart from mpg surprise surprise) but aside from the acceleration & braking differences the one thing that I found I actually missed came with the realisation as I driving along a cold & damp Warwickshire road that my bloody legs were cold! I forgot just how warm the v-twin keeps you warm.
Anybody else find they can't get used to riding another bike because you are used to the quirks of the VTR?

Re: I've missed my Storm.....
i rode my mates Kwaka Z750 only 7 miles last saturday from his house to the garage as he couldn't get it there as he was working in Wales, wow did it feel bland, it didn't seem to do anything until about 9000 and had no grunt what so ever, i would miss my storm. It aint going!!!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
