Honda parts comparison ?

Post by cheekykev »

Hi, does anyone out there know of a site / link/download, whatever, where I can get a Honda parts nbr comparison from, i.e. generic parts that fit a few different models, say like mirrors, filters, plugs, master cylinders, indicators, clutches, brake discs, callipers, levers, electrical parts, things like that, I’m sure there must be loads of parts out there that fit different bikes  I'm only interested in original Honda parts

I use the US site > http://www.ronayers.com/VTR1000F-C24473.aspx to get honda part numbers and then google them or use the onsite 'see where parts are used' function which lists what other (US) Hondas they're also used on. A tip if the part no has MBB in the middle then it generally means that it VTR only, or at least was first used on VTR but might fit later different bikes.

This may be of some use too.

There's also a link in the above for a Honda parts cross-checker but it's French so will need translating.

Nice try YMV, I've already tried that  It's a badly designed site and the CSS is not good which messes with the layout making it unusable. Plus google add to that by adding other crap like shortcuts to their other services which mess with page layout. One cant even access the field to put in a part number by disabling the Style sheet or viewing text only. Best if one can speak French or translate manually.

Who knows....maybe on this occasion IE will be the better browser  to use as they tend to mess with style sheets anyway. Maybe Explorers bugs will work in ones favour.
