Ckennedy wrote:Well today saw the start of a big change to my bike. To start the day off I had to make my way to Derby to meet a top bloke. I have to appoligise to him as I completely lost track of time as I was fitting my mums bathroom so I had to quickly rush up to meet him. Eventually got to meet said bloke and saw what I was hoping to purchase. We arranged for him to bring this item to me as it was a bit big for my little car. About 2hrs later he was at my door and the deal was done.

So I made my way to Lloyds. When I got there I coulc only be described as a Cheshire cat! and we set to work. We had to change a few bits round and move some other bits but we seem to have it right now :biggrin

I can hear you all ask well what was it. Well here it is. The big change that I was on about. There is still some little bits to do but all is good

I would recommended that if people can afford it do the front end conversion, it is fantastic :D it feels so smooth effortless to do anything. OK if you try to turn in like you would on standard storm forks you need to change your trousers but its great. I rode back from Lloyd's in the dark and I was a lot quicker than I was on my old storm and that's all because if the front end. It really is a money well spent upgrade. I just had to buy a bike to get it  It was so good I nearly reached the edge of the tyres without even trying, and yes that was in the dark :? 8O have to admit the headlight helped, its nice and bright.

I wasn't sure if it was going to be this bike or something completely different so I thought I would remain quiet this time till I knew what was happening. Now which body work :eh: :problem:

That's the idea. I have my own little Carl  Lloyd has been very busy stripping my old one down getting all the good bits off it and made a start cleaning the old bike ready for sale. I'd love to be there helping but I wasn't able to get down today and won't till Saturday when it will be more or less ready for sale :( I have to admit I am so glad I got Ady's bike. I has made such a difference, I'm a lot more confident in the corners already and if only done 120mile on it, if that 8O

I've been playing with this today. It's not mine it's my mates and hasn't been started in about 7 years :eek2 I've volunteered to service it and get it going. So today I gave it a wash.
