fireblade front mudguard

Post by Ckennedy »

Has anyone got a good condition front mudguard for a 929/954 in their shed/garages? Would love a carbon one but red or black would be ok.

Hey fella I had to replace mine for my SP1 front end so got this one..... http://bit.ly/NFZchn not sure if that link will work or not, will check it when I get home. It is for a Delkevic preformed white plastic mud guard. Perfect fit, just needing painted.

I bought a new carbon one with mesh inserts from a UK site for just about £100 at Christmas, but check this out:

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

So an sp1/2 mudguard would be a direct fit then?

They seem to be the same- try cross-referencing part numbers with grp manufacturers.

Ya the SP do fit directly on. The Delkevic one is for the fireblade and is the cheapest I could find as all the SP ones were close on £100 or more. Like I said the only down side is you need to paint it but for £45 quid you can't go wrong. The finish is good and I haven't gotten round to painting mine yet but looks ok as is for the short term :D
