I metered a CB125 one yesterday and all it would output was 13.35 volts, which dropped to 13 when revved. I'm not sure that's quite enough.
It'll probably keep the battery charged, but if running short journeys with lights, and heated grips, for example, will take a long time to top the battery up.

Can anyone who has fitted one meter it and post up their results, please?
Thanks
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

The one I linked to earlier is putting out 14.5 whatever the revs are doing.

You will get a little more out of the MOSFET.

I've got a voltmeter on mine and without lights get 13.5v revved - with dipped beam 12.5v and with heated grips just under 12v (so either headlight on or heated grips otherwise battery runs down which it did on Crimbo Eve  ) - Plan on a Mosfet in a couple of months.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Looking at this as well as it's one of the next things on my to do list after the cct's.

Has anyone any experience with either of the following. Presume these are what is referred to as the "finned" type and if they're a suitable plug and play solution then all good.

Haha, sorry half asleep here today!

No idea if the wemoto version is MOSFET or otherwise but a quick web search for electrex turns up their own website with a MOSFET version for £90 that looks totally different 8O

Was hoping to avoid cutting up the loom etc (yes I'm chicken, should change mine for a yellow bike  ) but I'll have a think about it
