Re: Wanted fuel filters
There's a thread on this somwhere and I have provided links to various filters on eBay but for the life of me I can't find it. It must be slipped into a thread that went slightly off topic. I shall keep searching.
The fuel pipe is a 10mm diameter but it's a struggle to find 10mm inline fuel filters. 8mm should be OK and has been used by a few members.

Oh I give up. Still been looking for that thread but no use. It's annoying me now as I'm pretty good at searching older threads. I must whack a keyword in there when it crops up again.

What is the need for inline fuel filters? I thought tanks normally came with them...

Re: Wanted fuel filters
Your right there is a filter inside the tank so if everything is in good order then there is no need. Inline filters are just an extra security precaution. It's a lot easier to keep an eye on the condition of inline filters and change than the internal one on the tap. IIRC some more expensive filters also come with a quick release system which could be handy when removing the tank.

Re: Wanted fuel filters

Re: Wanted fuel filters
I ran the tank low on fuel and I think I picked up a little water which may have been in the bottomVirt wrote:What is the need for inline fuel filters? I thought tanks normally came with them...
the bike won't run now so the carbs are off for a clean
They look immaculate inside so I think it's water

All good as I have done my tps which was at 900 ohm

Carl I have looked and can't find the thread either
