I have a set of standard mirrors with extenders fitted. £45 + post, or you can collect. Mirrors are datatag etched & 1 of the mounting studs has been repaired (by me). Same repair as done for darkmember :D

I have tried a pair of the Yam ones, but I ended up going back to the original Honda ones with 50mm mirror extenders. I just didn't seem to get on with the Yamaha ones, not to sure why exactly. It may have been something to do with the fact they sit closer to you than the standard mirrors. This means you have a different perspective of rear vision and would need time to adjust to the new position (ooh err missus  ).

Don't let that put you off though, I'm sure others will be along to say how they like them.

If you decide to give them a try, just make sure you get the right ones, the long arm version. IIRC they were fitted to 2000/2001 year R1's.
