Sorry but what a nob, those lines aint there for no reason, if they police had caught him they would have chucked the book at him, its prats like that, that give the police an excuse to harras people.

Generally yes I would agree, but I have been on plenty of roads where I can't see a reason for them, or it starts of with a genuine reason and they just continue them on until they run out of paint.

He was very lucky to walk away from that. I wont have a go at him for making a manoeuvre like that as it would make me a hypocrite. We've all, well most of us have done silly things. Actually the 2nd time I broke my femur was with a similar manoeuvre, going to fast and overshot the corner and my leg clipped the bumper of the oncoming car and I landed on the pavement at the side of the road.
