Oh yeah!
Didn't notice the frame first time around, the fiber glass is quite Raptorish in styling as well. Not my cup of tea but it's been well done. Could it be a tank off a Hornet as well?

I also thought as you Pete, that the tank could be off a Hornet,

Quite like that fairing as a solution for flat bars

Frame is a bit of a wierd 'done for style only' effort

Tank - WHY???
If yer gonna fit a different tank to a Storm, why the hell would you replace the tiny 16litre VTR one with a tiny 16litre Hornet one?? :?

You wanna nice VFR one so you do -I got mine back from the painters today and its sat in the living room being drooled at
24litres, should be good for 200 miles!!!!!

Better make the seat more comfortable next methinks

No!!
Hands off, its mine.
I saw it first
Bagsy!!

OK
I got a VFR800 (fuel injected model) fuel tank off ebay
With a bit of subtle resculpting of the underside it fits
Then had a couple of nuts welded on the underside to make a rear mounting point
Chopped the rear flange (ooh-err) off so the standard seat fits
Got it painted by my next door neighbour (works for insurance company bodyshop)

Just need to sort the fuel tap mounting and she's done
Will post pics and a full write up when its done

Hey, hey - I was first to buy it (after oeverseas genius from Superhawk forum who did it first)! I got mine for 40 quid in mint state (unfortunately it is from red VFR) in back in April! :)
But since I do not like idea to "sculpt" out about 1 liter of fuel to adapt it I also got VTR airbox for 15 euros (with new air filter in it! :)), so that I can experiment with fitting tank by chopping top of airbox...
But with new house it's been a non-stop DYI, so I had no time to do it... :(

Do you by any chance have photos of your new tank from underneath? Or may be you can take some? Pleeeease! :) I really am interested to see it and also how rear side looks like? Did you get any leaks by chopping rear mount off, and if no - can you tell how much exactly did you chop?

and BTW - IMHO that thing from show is horrible. I owned Hornet and that tank is indeed tiny and it is beatifully sculpted, but on Hornet. Here it looks bad. It;s like weird hybrid of Hornet with Storm sprayed over with strange color. And no work on performance that I can see - all looks. But may be they did something inside engine.. can';t say.
