Dials arrived this morning. First thing I notice is that the dial faces are opaque but the numerals and lines are translucent so that they light up when lit from behind.

Any sticker applied on top will look okay during daytime but at night it won't work like standard. i.e you won't have a visible speedo

Though there might be a very fiddly way round it by crafting a new placcy dial plate out of something like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2mm-4748-Gree ... 19e38f829e or clear with a coloured vinyl layer on the back then laying on the front a white vinyl with the numerals etc cut out. All very labour intensive.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

The two 19.0 displays are the Lambda readouts, one for each downpipe.

I fitted 7W Cree lamps instead of Honda's glow-worms, no mistaking those now! But not too bright on a dark country road.

Thanks, Wicky- recommended.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Lucky guys, I still am no closer to my white tachometer face.

I think the easiest for me is to get a later set of clocks with the white tachometer face and pirate that onto my tachometer!

Must start checking the wreckers !!!
