Pick up the forks, my brother, all our gear, race back to Lloyds, fit new steering head bearings, New front wheel bearings, change the oil in the new forks, fit them and test ride it before going to bed for an early start.

So much that could go wrong. Hopefully it will all go together well and be fine. But I shall update Friday night.

Now if this isn't dedication I don't know what is
You're having some bloody bad luck at the mo ck :(

We could go a faster way to get there instead of spending 4 hours getting there in the rain and thank that good route home .
And you wouldn't have to be up so early ???
that sounds like good tactics. if we plan a more direct route we can make a final decision friday night, or even when we are sat at the petrol station

I've been monitoring it too, like you say it's getting drier day by day, so as long as I keep you all topped up with tea/coffee/whisky and bbq food, you should be ok!

My mate is going to bring his big gazebo over and set it up on friday night, so if there is a passing shower we won't get disturbed/wet.
so the Suzuki boys won't have to walk home with a bag of rust.
Just a bit harsh, driving you Suzuki around in the rain just means no bolts will come off!! Theres certainly a saving in loctite!!

I did it on the sat nav in the end as I got peed off with geo codes !

If you plot a route on google maps I will copy it on to my sat nav .

I also need to redo the fun way home as I put the waypoints to close to junctions and the nav takes 10 seconds to load the next waypoint after it's past the last :-(
Didn't know that before till I tested it at work today

well it went like this, got a little lost, then we find the A3, I said to carl, my fuel lights just started to flas so i'll need to stop pretty soonish, 2 miles down the A3 theres a petrol station, me being an idiot thinks, it's a bit soon, they'll be another one in 5 to 10 miles. so being a super idiot, I carry on down the road doing erm the speed limit officer.....
and in the outside lane the bike starts to cough and splutter.....
so I pull onto the hard shoulder and in 3rd or 4th gear at very low revs ride along to the next exit, we managed to find an esso fairly quickly, I put just under 17ltrs in, I think because the throttle had been wide open at speed, it start to struggle with fuel starvation, hell the faster I get to a petrol station the better....
from now on, the moment the gauge starts to flash i'll fill up at the first petrol station I see...... :biggrin

Sorry if I haven't looked hard enough, but are some of you meeting at the J28 services on Sat morn ?? If so, would someone be able to carry a couple of bits up to pass on to Kev for me. Its 2 carb screwdrivers ( fairly long, one in a case ) and a storm mirror. If so let me know and I'll meet you there at a given time, I'm 2 mins away. Cheers.
