Speedo on a 98 storm

I have done a search with no luck just want to know if the speedo is just a k,s or mph the bike has done or is there a button on there somewhere that you push to show a trip meter or the k's/mph that you have just done from point A to point B instead of working it out.

Yep it's either made for one or the other and is not swichable, though there has been a couple that have mysteriously switched themselves after an electrical fault for some unexplained reason. You have one trip meter that is best resetting when you fill up so you can monitor how many miles you get to a tank.

All good now how a real good look and found it, i was pushing that the first time but nothing was happening but that was my fat fingers not engaging it properly so crisis adverted thanks anyway
