Op Storm Yorkshire Dales - South East Meeting arrangements

Post by bazza696 »

I thought I would post a sub thread with regards to the guys from the South East meeting etc.

Jamie and Steve are coming to me at 9am for bacon rolls and coffee, aiming to leave at 10am.

I was thinking that we could meet Tony @ Birchanger services on the M11(CM23 5QZ) at say 11am, will take us 50 minutes from my house to get there.

Fuel up before we go and will be 160 odd mile from M11 services, therefore another fuel stop and stretch mid way so should be around 3 hours to Squires.

Nice one Bazza, I'm going to be on a really tight budget so I'll be sipping Tesco "special brew" and aiming for 80mpg

Not long now :)

Well that's unrealistic, perhaps you should buy Tescos value vodka and instead if drinking it add it to the fuel tank. Probably the only way you will average 80mpg!!

That's a great tip Rob! If I have any fuel/vodka mix left in the tank after the trip, I can grab a straw and drink the remains!

That will get you wasted and probably increase the performance of the storm!! Alternatively use nitro instead of vodka!!

Ah, I love the smell of engine internals spread across the fast lane in the morning......
