Looks good Matty but I see what you mean about getting a clean edge from the tape.

Did you remove while the paint was still wet or wait until it was dry. I think you maybe you just had some bad, most probably cheap cheerful tape. Try another brand but these products are not cheep unfortunately. If you want one of the best go for 3M £££££££ Personally I would avoid eBay and buy direct from a paint store http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/products.php Maybe Shaun knows a good supplier down your way.

I went out and got my self a set of the newly released M7 RR fitted by B&C @ Farnworth

got a 190/55 on the rear instead of a 190/50

WOW what a tire you thought the PR3 was good, man this is some next level sh1t!

rode it 10 miles down a wet motorway home got of the bike felt the rear tire and it was warm wow i was impressed

what a great feel from them, so plush, so grippy and so smooth to ride

rode home from work via a town and then down a 50 road (damp) about 14 mile ride, got off and felt them and no joke they was hotter than ive ever had the PR3's even after twatting the bike with the PR3's on

tip in on these if ferking awesome cannot wait for a sunny weekend on these!!

all the mags and lads that have switched to them are giving them rave reviews, its also the tires that the owner at B&C use so that says somthing and they are mainly a Michelin dealers iirc

if your in the market for new rubber give these a try they will blow your mind!!

they are so sticky to the touch but also perform amazing in the wet even brand new striaght out the shop in a rain storm didn't give me any moments

I'm using the M5's at the moment and I think they are brilliant. So I'll definatly be looking at the M7s the next time around.

I've got several boxes of cofad 9mm pin lining tape that I love using, no residue, easily used for smooth curves and leaves a clean edge
I may be persuaded to part with some

scrubbed the tyre in carefully as it rained later on in the day, 1/4 left to go on the LHS though. Intend to do 300 miles or so on thursday though.

um thanks for that Lloydie, i intend to get it all off, with the shock, forks done and the set up feeling good, I've no excuses this time. I did get to 58 today on my favourite roundabout, better by 4mph over last year.( perhaps id better keep my eye on the road though eh!)

Checked the chain adjustment and lubed it, ready for a 300 odd mile ride tomorrow. Out all day hopefully.Morgage is sorted on the new place, I will be ordering a full bike lifter now that i will have room. Maybe have room to fit in a workshop day!!!.

I may even check the ferry out tomorrow too. Pizza for lunch after a brekkie at Dorchester.

All the recently purchased fairing, front subframe, light, seat cover and indicators on. Orange and red is still a horrendous combination but it still looks better than with no fairing Feels like a new bike

Put a few miles on it and nothing has fallen off yet either

Put a new front tyre on yesterday so no beer tokens left this month so new paint will have to wait until pay day or so
