A rattle can of primer costs pennies![/quote

True true. My (also a heap) of a campervan has it's MOT just before payday. If that gets through without taking all my spare time then I will be rattling away.

Went for a little ride, then came back, put a HRC tank pad on and washed it. By header pipe is going Golden. :biggrin

I think the watering can is there to take the eye off the wheelie bin lurking in the back ground...

Well I was going to change me brake lines today but when I pulled the bike out the cave I couldn't but help noticing the missing l/h hanger strap & bolt off the footrest hanger...DOH ! I assume it's somewhere between here & Faversham long route there & M2 on the way back...

Luckily I suppose, the Beowulf cans have the front lug on them. So the didn't drop right down & damage the cans. So instead of doing me brakes I put me Harris Cans on...with nylock nuts !

I think Lloydie said i need to lift my forks through the yokes maybe a tad more. Iam gonna try that, i have a front stand so was thinking maybe just another 5mm? is that too much? or not enough. i was hoping to put on the stand, loosen the yokes and gently lever up the wheel to get an extra 5mm. tighten up then try it? anybody tried that? or is it better to take the front wheel out, move 1 up and tighten then do the other and fit the wheel back in? bit of advise please guys( as always) Cheers Paul.
hello btt  do you the mean the adjustment that requires the "c" spanner? was it easy to do ?

I never got mine to move at all :confused
Hi nope the c spanner adj is the preload(I think) ride height is the very bottom 22mm bolt with a small locknut above it. When i fitted it i measured the bolt length to ensure theres enough inside etc. Easy job 10 mins max. On my Shock (WP) the rebound is the grey knurled knob just above that. Preload is easy to do as well. Iam not sure of this setting but it feels ok. I just think i need to pull the forks up through the yokes a bit to get it to turn in better.I am no suspension guru but do now understand it better.(I think) Tony and Lloydie will put me right i hope if i have it wrong. Hope that helps
hi btt. I forgot I asked this question . cheers for your thoughts on it , I think I am on about something else :confused

Looks nice in all black  although I usually prefer the look with a belly pan yours looks nice without. It's probably because of that shiny clean exhaust and header against the black, nice contrast.

I have my powerbronze lowers to go on Shaun. I just haven't got around to putting it on yet. It could also do with a bit of fibreglass repair first as it's split at the rear where they all go from the heat. I also want to cut a slot out for the oil level glass rather than the hole and grommet I currently have. I still have the Carbon frame protectors to put on, but yet again they can wait as I need to dremmel a bit of the inside of the fairing as it rubs against the frame cover.

Went for a little ride today and took a few pics.

And then I got some Deer.

Fitted O ring to fuel sender - no more pissing petrol out! Runs much better and now it's MOT'd looking forward to blast. Sad news about Karl Harris, my lid is a replica of his one, I shall wear it in his memory.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
