Got bored with the stick coil on the front pot missing when it rains; and I'm not having one of those ugly mudguard extenders, even a carbon one.

So I bought a nice new pushbike inner tube and fitted a section over the lead, cap and coil; and cable tied it nice and tight round the cable.
Might work- I'll let you know after the first rainy day.

Anyone else wanting to copy- you need a 2.5 inch diameter tube, not the 2.1 inch, which was a bit tight over the angle at the coil top.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Cheers guys
love those upswept cans
Note the outlets point in the rearward direction so they don't get filled up with rain unlike upsweeping Storm cans.

It's starting to grow on me, not having a lower on. It would certain'y make it easier to keep the exhaust and sump clean as well as checking oil level.

Went for a ride to Squires Café, set off in lovely sun, had a great run out on the back roads around Sherburn and Elmet then a bacon buttie and a cuppa. It went downhill from 12 o’clock when the heavens opened, not sure which was scariest the fear of getting struck by lightning or riding home in torrential rain on supercorsa’s, their inability to deal with standing water made for a few interesting moments on a water logged M62, anyway home now drenched but in one piece.
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R :D ,
Storm is now gone  .

Yep great tyres in the dry but as soon as it's wet they go cold and are really unstable !!! .

Dropped of piggys swing arm and caliper bracket to be opened out to 25mm .
Also while I was there I dropped off grump frog flywheel to be lightened ,
And and gave him the file for the dr honda stacks and he's getting back to me in the next few days on cost for them
