Yep when it's this nice out all I want to do is go riding ,
I've been put on 4x10 hour shifts at work for the summer instead of 5x8 hours so I now have a extra day to play with the snot rocket :-)

valve clearances will tighten over time which means they will go quieter. Is it definitely coming from the engine?Jamoi wrote:Yes good point dude, I'm just paranoid I guess. I need to check valve clearances so with check tension while I'm there.
Anyone else feel like sometimes, everything is a ferking chore?

Just got my seat back from the trimmers who have shaved a bit off it. Being a short butt I can now get both feet comfortably on the floor! Sadly can't take it for a ride as I`ve done my back in! Also looks like my mate is going to have to volunteer to do the stopper mod on my new ccts as I can`t bend down to do it. Saying that he is a Honda trained bike tech who by the way tried to steer me away from my storm! His opinion was not very high, everyone to their own though. I love it!

I don't think your feet being on the floor is going to ease your comfort woe's. The standard seat foam is really thin in that it compresses very easily. It's bad enough as it is if your taking it away you'll be sitting on the base...Best get some pile cream in that might aid the comfort...VTRMED wrote:Just got my seat back from the trimmers who have shaved a bit off it. I would have hoped that your trimmer has replaced the foam with something denser, no not Virt, then if less has gone in it will help with the stumpy leg syndrome & be more comfortable.

Hmm should of said he cut most of it out & replaced with memory foam type stuff. Its not Farmer Giles that's my problem its only pulled muscles in my back. Even if the seat is uncomfortable I can rest every 100 miles when I fuel up + I would rather have a numb elbow than drop my pride & joy! and look a tw@ into the bargain!

Ah memory foam. That's the stuff that reminds you your butt will still hurt after 50 miles...VTRMED wrote:Hmm should of said he cut most of it out & replaced with memory foam type stuff.
