I was going to give it a good clean but then I had a phone call so I had to go out to collect...

Had them done at my local Pirtex depot, not cheap TBH but it's a nice job & the pipe he has used is much thicker than the crap Honda stuff. In fact he said when he heated it up to remove the flange at the cooler end it just melted !

I did ask about braided hose but the only pipe he had that was heat resistant was bigger bore than the std braided bit & at £60 a metre I passed on that.

Well that would be a bit silly, I was going to offer you the engine seeing as yours is about to blow up...

Strangely although it's a bit of a ...well no it's a bag of shite lets be honest... , it rides really well. Motor is good, revs cleanly pulls nicely & it handles well as well. It's got a Hyperpro rear spring on it & I think it must have uprated fork springs in as well. it's quite planted. Tyres are a bit worn, bodywork is a bit on the rough side. Cosmetically it's rough. Has those awful fake carbon copy of the original levers on it.

The question is...
1/ Tidy & sell ?

2/ Spend hard earned (  ) on it & sell ?

3/ Set fire to it & dance around it naked in a homage to the God of V twins c/o the Church of the Righteous Order of the Firestorm ? (Service conducted by The most Reverend CCT Vacuum Pipe-Reg Rec.)

or

4/ Break it up & annoy Frank ?

all depends on what you paid for it, sounds like the basis of a trackbike to me, handles and goes well, just looks shabby.
I personally wouldn't spend money making it look good, after all its silver........... :whatever

not actually done anything to the bike except ride it up to david silvers leiston lair. got some Honda front pads.

its quite a long way from most places in the uk but if you like 60,s 70,s ,80,s and 90,s Hondas he has got loads . all pretty much immaculate, just sitting there.

I asked if they were for sale ? he said no, just for looking at ? must have about 100 of them??

Changed main jets and needle settings many times.
Hasn't made a lot of difference, so tomorrow I must go leaner still...
